We are here for you
Located within a short distance from Melbourne CBD, the Lebanese Consulate is a hub that services all Lebanese living in Victoria and all other nationals wishing to visit Lebanon or interact with Lebanese officials.
A brief history
The first official Lebanese representation in Melbourne was in the form of an Honorary Consulate for Lebanon, established in 1968.
In 1978 it was replaced with a career Consulate.
In 1982 the Lebanese Cabinet of Ministers decided to raise the representation level in Melbourne to a Consulate-General and a decree was issued to that effect on 25/3/1983.
